Not long after we’re treated to the angry birds facebook app, you can now see an advertisment for Angry Birds Space on their page. Check out the teaser video here:

Angry Birds Space is set to be released March 22nd, with an official press release coming on March 8th so keep your eyes open for that one, it looks like we could be in for some low gravity fun.

Incase any of you Facebook fans haven’t noticed, you can now find our feathered friends on your favorite social network. Angry Birds on Facebook was released on valentine’s day, so why not head on over for a game.

By the looks of it, the Angry Birds Facebook app runs on flash through your browser, so as far as i know, this won’t work on your iPhone or iPad… sorry folks, you can blame Apple for that.

The reach of Angry Birds goes well beyond that of your handheld device or computer. Apart from the huge array of angry birds merchandise you can buy (click here to browse some of the cool Angry Birds gear you can get) you can also see the birds in some pretty cool Artwork which includes modern art pieces, and even vans. Angry Birds seems to get more popular by the minute, it seems. In June 2011, Angry Birds had amassed an impressive 200 million downloads. In October 2011, the count rose to 400 Million, and in November of that year, 500 Million. Of course, we’re into 2012 now, does that mean the popularity of the game might just be beginning to wane?…. not a chance. Angry Birds is now at over 600 Million downloads – yes, thats 600,000,000 !. Thats almost double the population of the whole of the United States. On Christmas alone, there were reported to be about 6.5 million downloads of the game, which comes in at a hefty 4500 downloads per minute.

It seems that Rovio’s first update for 2012 will be Angry Birds: Year Of The Dragon for Seasons, and we’ve got a teaser video to show you. Obviously, this episode is to be based around the Chinese New Year, which this year is the Year of the Dragon!. And the great news is that you don’t need to wait until sunday to download it, Rovio have released the game early so you can get started playing it straight away!. Needless to say, we’ll have the walkthrough’s posted for this episode as soon as we can.

A friend of ours pointed out this video that’s on YouTube of a pretty cool time lapse video. They’ve made an Angry Birds Gingerbread House, each part of it is entirely home made and the birds + pigs are made from Marzipan.

The whole thing is obviously completely edible, but who would want to destroy such a cool creation? (We particularly like the festive music as well).

It’s been a while since i’ve updated this site, been quite busy with stuff lately but expect to see all the rest of the Angry Birds Walkthroughs on the site in the coming days. In the meantime, have you ever wondered what the real angry birds actually look like?….

..ok, i’ll admit these pics arent real. But they are an artists rendition of what the Angry Birds would look life in a real life setting, and some of them look awesome! Check them out:

Some clever chaps have recently discovered quite a few Angry Birds Seasons acheivements in the Game Center, that might be hinting at the angriest bird of all making an appearance on the iPhone – The Mighty Eagle!.

The achievements can be unlocked by buying the eagle in an in-app purchase, and by collecting 30, 60, and 120 feathers. (check out the screenshot)

Once you’ve purchased the Mighty Eagle, you can lure it into play by firing none other than a tin of sardines from your catapult. The destructive winged beast will then fly downwards, once every 60 minutes, destroying the levels scenery in its path…. and of course, any green pigs that happen to get in its way.

You are then awarded a feather should you manage to attain 100% destruction!

Angry Birds Company Worth Billions

Recently, a Rovio executive has stated that the Angry Birds company was worth several billion dollars, according to the Finish magazine Kauppalehti Optio.

Rovio’s Cheif Marketing Officer, Peter Vesterbacka mentions in the article that the Forbes evaluation given in July of $700 million to $1 Billion is too low.
Instead, he says, the company should be valued at several billion dollars. He says Facebook games company ‘Zynga’, was estimated to be worth between $20 – $25 billion.

“We are not selling though — unless somebody offers enough,” He was quoted saying in Thursdays article.

Rovio has told Reuters that they aim for a stock market listing in New York in around 2 – 3 years time.
